We run courses from Unit 9, Cressex Business Park, Lincoln Road, High Wycombe, HP12 3RL, where we pay individual attention to each child’s specific needs. All lessons are planned by our specialist subjects Tutors. Each lesson is designed carefully to cover specific topic and in-class exercises are held for students to understand fully the topic discussed.
Full Year 11+ Course
This course is run from Sept. to Sept. throughout the time your child is in year five. Before the course start each child sits an Evaluation session; where we test the child’s potential and ability. We then provide parents sincere feedback on the prospects of child’s 11+ passing chances. After the evaluation child is enrolled in 11+ group. This course offers full coverage of all the areas required for the 11+, building confidence and maximising student’s chances of achieving their potential in the test.
Class size is a maximum of Ten children
The course begins by familiarizing pupils with all the different question types, teaching them the various techniques needed to tackle the questions effectively. Once the techniques are mastered, emphasis is places on increasing speed and accuracy, with plenty of timed exercises and practice papers in exam conditions. Throughout the year, core mathematics skills and vocabulary building activities are also undertaken and any areas of weakness are highlighted for focused practice and reinforcement. Parents are provided monthly written feedback on each session your child attended the course and detailed topic list plus the full achievement results to see the progress of their child. After explaining the topic and doing in class exercises homework is set after each session and child is expected to do the work independently without parent’s help to consolidate the skills taught in the lesson.
